This will be a year of advocacy, inclusion and empowerment. My voice as a patient will be stronger and more confident.

Left to the whims of the medical profession, I'd be dead. Ignored, bullied and diminished will not be words familiar to me.

I will be writing a healthcare manifesto that will go to each of my providers dictating the type of care I wish to receive.

I will be a willing advocate for others who feel they have no voice. I will share my experiences and knowledge knowing they will bring change.
